Knee Prosthesis (Single Knee)
Knee prosthesis surgery is an open surgical method in which the cartilage and bone structure on the joint surfaces are prepared with appropriate guides and replaced with artificial joint surfaces in advanced or late-stage knee joint calcification. It can be applied in a part of the knee (unicondylar) according to the anatomical region of the patient's joint calcification and the level of calcification.

- Control examination at post op 10th day,
About The Procedure
It is applied in case of deterioration of the patient's daily life activities (difficulty in going up and down the stairs and walking on the road) and sleep patterns, which increase pain and decrease in joint movement as a result of severe deterioration in the knee joint cartilage.
After The Procedure
Rehabilitation begins 4-5 hours after the operation. You can keep your foot on the ground with the help of a single or double wing cane. It is possible for the same day of the surgery or the day after of the surgery day. You also can start the activities such as walking, climbing the stairs, sitting on the toilet.
